CSA Tidewater Chapter #71, Norfolk, VA
The CSA Tidewater Chapter #71 has been meeting at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, VA for almost two years.
Their last meeting was on June 20. They have just elected new officers.
Information about who to contact about the group will be posted here as soon as
it is available. People are on vacation and so the information will probably not
be available until August.
Celiac/DH Support Group of Northern Shenandoah Valley, VA
Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month.
They meet at the Day Rehab Program Conference Room at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA - the "Old Hospital" on 333 Cork Street at 7:30

Here is a message I received from their Chairperson, Ruth Arcuri-Kovacs BSN, MS, RD:
"We're new (about to have our fourth meeting on Monday, July 10) and eager to grow.
In the short time that we've existed, the Celiac/DH Group: N Shenandoah Valley, VA
has grown from 7 celiacs/dh's to 14 or 15.
We have had one very successful group dinner at a local Italian restaurant to practice our g-f meal-ordering skills which was
well-attended by 12 people, both celiacs and concerned family members.
Also we are in the process of building an info-packet for new celiacs in our area to
help them learn and adjust to the 'celiac life.'
Our members possess great enthusiasm for guiding new celiacs: providing support for anyone
with this condition, for improving our diets and our outlook, for educating others about CD/DH, and for enjoying each others'
company. We laugh a lot and we sympathize, comfort, and educate even more. I think we're off to a good start - our members are eager to
"support" others in any- and every-way that is needed.
Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month. (Except for July which is moved up to July 10th because of the holiday.)
